Howdy!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm Garrett Moreland, a U.S. Army veteran and professional concert & event photographer currently based in Oklahoma City.
My journey into photography began early earning my Adobe Certified Associate at just 16. After serving as an Infantryman with the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion in South Korea (where I also ran the unit’s media and documented life on base), I received an honorable medical retirement and fully committed myself to visual storytelling.
Today, I specialize in capturing the raw energy, emotion, and electrifying moments of live music & The quiet somber energy of Liminal spaces. I’ve shot major artists and festivals nationwide, including Dropkick Murphys, Liquid Stranger, Luzcid, Opio, Zeke Beats, Porter Robinson, and many more. My work has been used by artists for tour promotion and my liminal space art has generated millions of views across social media.
I’m currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Photography (with a minor in Japanese)  at the University of Central Oklahoma, building on my Associate’s in Digital Media Design and years of hands-on experience in creative direction, event production, and high-pressure live event photography.
From managing national tours and delivering edited assets within 12 hours, to co-curating augmented reality-integrated exhibitions at Oklahoma City Community College as Assistant Creative Director, I thrive on turning challenging environments into powerful visual narratives.
Whether I’m behind the lens at a packed festival or collaborating on creative projects, my goal is simple: capture the soul of the moment so artists and fans can relive it.
I’m always excited to connect with bands, promoters, festivals, and brands who value high-quality, authentic visual content. Distance is never an issue I’m ready to travel and create something unforgettable together.
